NASHUA – Police converged on Ash Street on Tuesday night after someone reported spotting suspicious people carrying shotguns.
Police, who found no weapons in the area, had made no arrests by around 7:30 p.m., when most officers cleared the area after searching a home, according to Nashua Police Sgt. Michael Fauteux.
The call to police came in around 6:30 p.m., and police were able to descend on the area almost immediately, Fauteux said.
Cruisers blocked off Ash Street near West Hollis Street and were continuing to investigate the call by around 8 p.m.
Traffic was backed up during the incident, and Ash Street residents were restricted from going to their homes.
