PELHAM – A Nashua man was arrested Saturday after he allegedly left the scene of a crash involving an off-road vehicle.
Peter Hahn, 38, allegedly crashed his four-wheeler, a Kawaski 4x4, into an oncoming truck Saturday morning on Bush Hill Road.
Hahn provided his information to the other driver, Russell Vigeant, of Hudson. But, Hahn then left the scene, saying he did not want to be arrested, Vigeant told police.
After speaking with Vigeant, officers then followed fluid that had leaked from Hahn’s vehicle and located him further up the road trying to hide the four-wheeler.
They quickly placed Hahn under arrest, charging him with reckless operation and operating an off-road vehicle on a roadway.
He is scheduled to appear Feb. 25 in Salem District Court.
Neither Hahn nor Vigeant was injured in the accident, though Vigeant’s truck suffered some damage to the fender.
