If 2 feet of snow fall in Nashua, but no one leaves their home to see it, does it count as a storm?
As much as 24 inches of snow blanketed parts of Nashua on Saturday. But the storm, one of the most anticipated weather events in years, resulted in few of the car crashes and power outages reported elsewhere in New England.
No Nashua area homes lost power during the storm, according to Public Service of New Hampshire, the state’s largest electric utility. And although local roads remained slick through much of the day, few major accidents were reported across the region, responders said.
“Thankfully, there weren’t a lot of cars on the road, and a lot of businesses that are usually open were closed because of the storm. … It was pretty quiet,” Nashua police Sgt.
