PLYMOUTH – Three Hudson residents are among six individuals arrested and charged with alcohol-related offenses early Friday morning on the Plymouth State University campus, state police reported Monday.
Cathryn McCarthy, 20, Annie McCarthy, 18, and Meghan McCarthy, also 18, all of Hudson, were charged with minors in possession of alcohol, police said, after the car they were in was stopped on High Street about 3 a.m.
The driver of the car, Phillip Davis, 22, of Hyde Park, Mass., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, while two other passengers, Sheehan McCarthy, 20, and Jordan McCarthy, 17, both of Lowell, were charged with minor in possession of alcohol, police reported.
Police didn’t specify how the McCarthys are related, or if they and Davis are students at Plymouth State.
All were transported to Plymouth Police Department for processing, and were later released, police said, adding that their arraignments are all scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, in Plymouth district court.
