NASHUA – A city man has been charged with forgery in connection to a check stolen from a Hudson residence, police said.
Joshua Steele, 19, of 223 Brook Village Road, Apt. 4, Nashua, was arrested Thursday and charged with forgery, a Class B felony, police said.
On Oct. 11, Hudson police investigated a burglary at a Hudson residence. In the course of the investigation, police discovered that a check taken from the residence was cashed at a Nashua bank, police said.
Nashua police detectives continued the investigation and identified Steele as the suspect in cashing the check, police said.
The Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison plus fines.
