PEMBROKE, N.H. (AP) – U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is visiting New Hampshire on Wednesday.
He’s touring Pleasant View Gardens in Pembroke.
Pleasant View Gardens recently received a USDA grant and loan guarantee to install a biomass wood-fired boiler system to heat its commercial greenhouses.
Since 2009, USDA has invested in more than 50 New Hampshire renewable energy loans and grants to help rural farmers, ranchers and rural businesses save money and conserve energy.
