HOLLIS – Besides scattered voting booths at the start of the day, there were few surprises at the polls Tuesday.
The two incumbent Selectmen Mark LeDoux and Peter Band easily won re-election to the board, beating challenger Spencer Stickney by more than a 3-2 margin.
Similarly, the two incumbents on the town Budget Committee, Chris Hyde and Tom Gehan, were re-elected by voters.
The only real upset was for the School District Budget Committee as challenger Lorin Rydstrom beat incumbent Raul Blanche 265-222.
Fewer than 10 percent of the town’s registered voters went to the polls Tuesday, with 555 ballots cast out of 5,970 registered voters.
The annual Town Meeting will be held Wednesday in the Hollis Brookline High School gymnasium at 7 p.m.
