South Nashua ‘Citizens’ Forum’ planned at New Searles Elementary School Wednesday

NASHUA – South Nashuans will have a chance to get questions answered and complaints aired at Ward 9 Alderman Dan Moriarty’s second “Nashua Citizens’ Forum” at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Moriarty also will host “special guest” Nashua Fire Chief Brian Morrissey – a ward 9 resident – at the session, to be held at New Searles Elementary School on Shady Lane. The agenda will include topics specific to Ward 9, but also will review other Nashua issues the Board of Aldermen faces, Moriarty said. Potential topics include: Speeding on Searles Road Missing waste containers The Four Hills Land purchase Nashua student enrollment Broad Street Parkway Main Street renovations The Pennichuck shareholders’ meeting The swing set at Kirkpatrick Park The Ward 8 state representative special election Review and Comment Commission The city’s new ladder truck The decorum ordinance The Crown Street purchase Commuter rail Crime watch The vultures are back Contact Moriarty by emailing moriartyward9@yahoo.com for more information or to RSVP. – MARYALICE GILL
