HUDSON – Though the gallery at the Hudson School Board’s meeting was filled with concerned parents and faculty members, no one said a word Monday night before the superintendent presented his proposed reconfiguration plan for the district’s elementary schools.
No matter. They will get their chance to voice their concerns, ask questions and share any other sentiments they have at two question sessions slated for next week and April 2.
At the regular School Board meeting, Superintendent Bryan Lane shared his proposal that was formed after his Focus Monitoring team came together in July. At that time, they looked at students scores, achievement and a number of other factors. The current school structure isn’t working and student scores on standardized tests have not improved in the past five years, he said.
