Ferry Street in Hudson will be closed for at least 6 hours due to downed pole; detour set up

HUDSON – Ferry Street in Hudson will be closed at least another six hours after a dump truck backed up into a telephone pole, splitting it in half late Wednesday morning. Ferry Street, or Route 111, from George Street to Pleasant Street has been shut down and Hudson police asked motorists to avoid the area, which will be closed for at least six hours. Lt. Dave Bianchi said a detour has been set up and requested drivers to follow the detour signs and not drive around the barricades.
