NASHUA – With Election Day out of the way, city residents can turn their attention to another November frenzy: Black Friday.
Simon Malls announced Tuesday that the Pheasant Lane Mall is among New Hampshire mall locations that will open at midnight as Thanksgiving is ending.
That’s four hours earlier than last year, though several Pheasant Lane stores did meet the midnight push of other big boxes such as Best Buy and Old Navy in 2011.
The mall will close Friday, Nov. 23, at 10 p.m.
Throughout the holiday season, Simon Malls will feature greeters, “rejuvenation” and gift wrap stations, local entertainment and Santa and holiday pet photos, officials said.
The Pheasant Lane Mall also opened several new stores for the holidays last week including Hickory Farms’ meat, cheese, sweets, and nuts gift baskets; Christmas Tree Shops Express – a scaled-down version of the box; and Himalayan Crafts, a kiosk selling “Far East” gifts.
Shoppers also can purchase Phantom Gourmet and Simon gift cards, or use Simon’s free iPhone application to check mall hours, sales, promotions, and gift card balances.
The Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester, The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem and Newington’s Fox Run Mall also join Pheasant Lane with midnight Thanksgiving openings.
