MONT VERNON – Two months after a woman reported she was assaulted during a home invasion on Brook Road, Police Chief Kyle Aspinwall said investigators continue to await test results on physical evidence in the case.
Aspinwall also said Wednesday that he has “no comment on any suspects at this time,” though police from several agencies launched a search immediately after the incident for a man described as between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and wearing all black clothing.
“It’s still an active investigation,” Aspinwall said. “There are various items of physical evidence still being processed by the state crime lab. We’re still awaiting results.”
The incident unfolded around 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept.
