NASHUA – In an outpouring of support the judge called “stunning,” family members of a shooting victim asked the court for leniency in sentencing his killer.
Christopher Bazar, 27, was sentenced Wednesday to serve four to 10 years in state prison for the Dec. 2, 2011, shooting death of his best friend, Donald St. Laurent, in Hudson. Bazar pleaded guilty to manslaughter in a killing described as drunken horseplay and a senseless tragedy.
