He’s been arguably the rock of Merrimack High School’s boys ice hockey program going on four seasons now. And to think it was a matter of location, location, location.
Had Tomahawks senior goaltender Brett Glendye’s family not moved to Merrimack when he was in the seventh grade, he’d likely be in the net for a Manchester school right now.
Which one?
“I would have went to Memorial, actually,” he said with a grin.
But thankfully for the Tomahawks, that didn’t happen. He’s been spelled for game or two here and there over the last three-plus seasons, but it just doesn’t seem like a Merrimack hockey game if No. 30 isn’t between the pipes.
“It feels good,” Glendye said.
