2 minor fires in Nashua on Sunday

NASHUA – Nashua firefighters handled a pair of relatively minor fires at a mobile home and a downtown restaurant Sunday. The first, at 9 Keith St. in the Rodgers Mobile Home Park, was reported shortly after 10 a.m., Deputy Chief Brian Rhodes said. He said smoke was showing from the mobile home when crews arrived, and that the occupants had already evacuated. Firefighters located the fire at the rear of the home and extinguished the flames with a hand line, Rhodes said. The residents and a neighbor had used a dry chemical extinguisher before crews arrived.
